Clinton is a farming community located 15 minutes north of Waterville and 45 minutes south of Bangor off I-95 Exit 138.
The town has a population of approximately 3800, has 13 full-time employees, and a municipal budget of $3.
6 million dollars.
Clinton operates under a Town Meeting/Selectperson/Town Manager form of government with a five-member selectboard.
The Board seeks an applicant with a strong knowledge of Municipal Budgeting, Labor Relations, and Economic Development.
The successful candidate will be expected to serve on various boards and committees, as well as a high level of engagement with the community and its residents.
The Board would prefer a candidate with a minimum of a Batchelor's Degree in Public Administration or five years of municipal experience.
Those with equivalent experience or qualifications will be considered.
The position is slated to begin on or about December 1, 2023.
