We are a family owned and operated security integration business in Maine with over 25 years of experience providing our customers with custom electronic and physical security systems.
We are looking for a skilled, experienced professional to add to our team who will be responsible for securing and servicing our financial, commercial, and residential customers.
We have an immediate need for a full-time Technical Support Specialist who will provide our customers and technicians with remote support for our video surveillance, access control and intrusion detection systems.
You will use your skills to provide outstanding customer service by ensuring the highest quality of workmanship, professional customer communication, and loyal confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to customers for a variety of physical security systems, including video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues over the phone, via email, or through remote desktop support.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and programming of physical security systems.
Conduct training on physical security systems for customers and employees.
Stay up-to-date on the latest physical security technologies and trends.
Document and track all customer support interactions.
Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Familiarity with email, text messaging and computer systems.
Must be able to represent Cayer Security Services, Inc.
in a professional manner, maintaining excellent customer service to fellow employees, our clients, vendors and community.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with fellow employees as a member of the Cayer Security Services, Inc.
team.
Candidates must agree to a full background check which will be completed as part of the interview process.
This position requires working off ladders and lifts, sometimes at heights above 20 feet, and working in drive through canopies and attic spaces.
Employees must be substance free at all times.
Minimum Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in technical support, preferably in the physical security industry.
Strong knowledge of video surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
